It's been a pretty good day so far. D3 is at my parent's house this week. She called me early this morning to say she loves me and wished me a Happy Birthday. She actually sang to me! So cute.
No, of course no word from H. Didn't and don't expect anything. I mean, really, what could he say?? Ah, Happy Birthday honey, sorry I'm making your 40th so sh*tty by being an ass & wanting a life with my new soul mate!!
My FIL called me a few minutes ago. He's so sweet. He said that he forgot until he looked at the calendar this morning. He always sends a card and calls on my birthday. He wanted to know why H hasn't called him. H usually calls at least once a week. H hasn't called since we visited. I didn't know that. Appears that since the A has started coming out, H is distancing himself from his family. FIL asked me if he was up to his same sh*t again and how things were with us. I said Papa (that's what we call him), I'll be honest. Things are not good. However, it's up to your son to talk to you about all that. H would be more than livid with me if I say any more.
I truly wanted to have a conversation with my FIL and let him know that his son needs help. I'm not sure if I should step that way or not.
I need to run. I need to get some things done and then a friend is taking me to lunch!!
