I hadn't worn my wedding ring in about 4 years. I took it off mainly because I had worn it for over 20 years, and just wanted a new piece of jewelry. Clearly with me, 20 years, one piece of jewelry is a record. It's yellow gold, and white gold was in. And I have another ring that is white gold that my H gave me for our 20 anniversary, so I felt that still symbolized the marriage, even though no one else would recognize it. While I wore other rings I gained weight, and the wedding ring no longer fit. So then I couldn't wear it and I kept saying I would bring it to a jeweler to be made larger, but I haven't done that yet. Anyway, a few days ago I tried it on, and it fit. Tight, but it fit. So I've been wearing it for about 5 days now. Except right now, I just pried it off; it's too tight again. Anyway, the whole point of all this is that I don't think my husband noticed at all that I wore it again. So I guess I'll go back to rings that fit. At least until I get this made larger, or lose weight. Which do you think is going to come first?
