I'm sorry your C doesn't support your reading the DB book. I had read it this summer before I started seeing my C and then she recommended it to me. She was really excited when I told her about DR. I don't trust a C that says you should get a D without trying to work things out first. I think that is what my H's C has told him to do. Keep reading and DBing, it is up to you not your C if you want to try to save you M.
I would say your H was reaching out to you w/ his silly text that you can do yourself. My H calls sometimes when H has the Ds to ask about something that amazes me he is calling for that.
I have been wanting to text H that I miss him while he is on trip, but I'm worried he will see it as pushing. How did your H respond? I did send him a little video tonight of D10 and I think he enjoyed that.
