lwb, your gut is usually pretty dead on, from what I can see. the fact that you said he didn't sound stressed or uncomfortable or the like makes me think that it isn't your h/ow related. I could be wrong, but just a hunch. not to mention its the monday after the weekend. so he could ask for the number (for him or his buddy) without seeming, well, too eager (like if he had called yesterday).
but what do I know. just an innocent bystander looking for a fun little story.
