There's a big part of me that refuses to intitiate any D proceedings either. This was H's decision, not mine. My H told me in a drunken rage that our D will know the truth, as if the blame was all mine. I responded by telling him, yes she will.
I've also come to realize a sad fact that I hate thinking about. I hear so many people talk about the OP's spouse and how the OP has been married two or three times. The OP has had more than one A. I've come to realize that I am the OP's spouse in many of these situations. I'm the one whose H is cheating on me again, the one whose spouse has been married a second time and is looking for his 3rd wife before D'ing the second. Yet, there's someone out there (OW) who still wants him. Not sure if she knows all the details of everything. I doubt it. Probably doesn't make me look very smart either, but it's hard to move past 17 years together and hard to overlook a child and the good times we have had.

Oh mcojh, you're too funny! I've only been to one restaurant there. It was called The Canadian Honker. Great place, especially for home made food. It's across from St. Mary's on 2nd Ave.

Sue, OMG -- you live in Rochester?? I WAS BORN THERE, in St. Mary's Hospital, in fact! Although I was only 5 when we moved to Chicago, I can still remember the signs with the nurse on them, holding her finger to her lips in a "Sssshhhh!" gesture. This would have been circa 1964.
When people ask where I'm from, I say South Dakota. I was actually born in the Twin Cities (Robbinsdale, MN) and we moved to SD when I was about 3. I grew up in SD. Moved back to the Twin Cities and then on to Chicago when I was about 23-24. I'm familiar with Rochester because my dad had surgery there a year ago.....at St. Mary's.
Where did you live in Chicago? I lived in the western burbs for about 13 years....Naperville, Aurora. I worked in Glen Ellyn.
And you do not sound old.....

When I was in Rochester, I ate at a restaurant directly across the street from St. Mary's hospital. It was very small, and very clean. The food was great, with very large portions and reasonable prices. Forgot the name, though....
I am not in Rochester very often, though. More often in Albert Lea and MSP.
