I stayed well away from the mayhem here. The stadium is only about 9 miles from my house. I just didn't go anywhere near it. Too many looney tunes out this weekend.
We stayed home today, except for church and stopping by a friend's house for a little while before the Super Bowl. My sis, BIL and folks came over. We ate all the obligatory junk food and watched the game. The kids are so excited the Giants won. They love them b/c those are the games we used to go to in Jersey.
I hate the shoving down the throats of the ow. D9 refused to talk to her dad last night and had D5 say she was busy or something. I was out to dinner so I don't know exactly how it went down. Tonight she talked to him for a minute about the Super Bowl.
Oh well...
Tomorrow I start my new job. Even though it's not what I really want I am kinda excited, kinda not. I hope it goes well. So I won't be able to check in until tomorrow night.
