Who can explain a person like that? Is it a MLC or are they just bad people who are selfish?

Let me pose a question to everyone. Do you believe there is such a thing as a MLC?

My stepmother was a LBS. Her husband also had an affair. She said while he was going through this she asked a psychologist friend of hers if there really is such a thing as MLC or was he just a bad boy. The psychologist required he was just a bad boy.

I'm not convinced that there isn't a such thing as MLC though.
