Hi TAL,

Your marriage sounds a lot like mine before we went to Retrouvaille. I felt like I was just everybody's servant, and no one cared to even notice me unless I failed to do something for them. For us, the weekend was a miracle cure. Our problem was in communication. I buried all my hostilities or muttered them under my breath, occasionally I exploded in anger, but it didn't win me any friends or change anyone. You should look into Retrouvaille, http://www.helpourmarriage.org.; it could be just what you need.

Where will you be visiting in Florida? I live in Tampa.

First.. thanks jak, yoyo, lwb and saffie.. you all are so sweet..

Sara,

Ive thought about retrouvaille and even looked up some stuff. I agree it could help, its just getting him to that point. Right now he is way too stressed with trying to get accounts rec. in order with our business (knowone wants to pay on time) , he is not focused at this point, but I think its a great idea.

We will be in orlando~ Disney of course.. then we may be going to Daytona just for the day. Depending on our finances is if we will be going to Daytona. We've been to Tampa.. went to the motocross races there it was fun.

And you are so right about being everyone's servant. Some days I feel that I am losing myself in the battle. Don't get me wrong, I love my family, but sometimes I just want to crawl in a hole and be left alone for an hour.

My H doesn't understand it, I don't know how to show him or tell him either ...

Such as life..

Things are quiet in the house right now, H is on a job, kids are watching the tube quietly for a change.. aahhh I love when the house is quiet!!

ok guys... not to much to report... H has been ok, a little on edge.. still trying to nail down some work, and is a bit stressed.."tried to help him there"

But I did do something I wouldn't normally do.. got my hair cut.. now of course I get it trimmed, but I let her but long layers in it..OMG.. this was a big step for me, as my hair is like my security blanket.. but Im happy with it.. H loves it.. I have farrah Facett hair now..hehe.. When I straightened it looks a little more tame.

With everything Ive been through I felt some impowerment (sp?) to change something that was big for me....

trying to plan for our trip, I just don't want to get my hopes up that everything will go smoothly with him...
