Craig,

From this perspective it looks like she is trying to pick a fight with you. Stay calm and validate. Hang tight.

Craig,

I agree with Frank and Woog.

You got that right brother, you're on the right track. Be fearless, stand your ground, and let your W experience the reality of all this.

cog, brother i know you are out there. interesting things are happening on the home front. the more i open my life up to the Lord, the more my wife seems to be involved in going to her church. i know she sees a major change in me. just by her comments to our daughter, to cleanup her language at dinner last night. she was surprised i did not say anything to her. i said i would have, but i actually did not hear it. i have read numerous times, that if you change your self and start doing different things your spouse will start to imitate you. it seems to be happening. my focus has shifted from worrying about her, to serving Jesus, and having him clean up the crap out of my life.

Craig...thats an interesting thought...the more you start doing different things, the more they imitate you....Because she was so detached, it left me with the kids a lot. She slowly came back and now is doing everything possible for our kids. The perfect mom syndrome. And...I started working out...guess what, she is now going down to the same place working out.

They actually publish divorce filings in the paper...love this world.

I was down at Starbucks this morning and the barista says 'hows it going'...I say fine. She says "I think what youre going through is tougher than cancer"....nice....the barista knows my life? I'm a celebrity in my own neighborhood.

Point is...everybody knows everything....and I'm certain there's a WAS playbook. We just need new coaches to get the book swapped out.

Wow!!!!! A barista at a Starbucks????? I thought you only had those at "ethnic" cafes or bar sportivos. I never heard that term used for a person who serves up the java at a Starbucks.
How did she find out about what you are going through????????

Guys,

You should try living in a small town of 7,000 and being an exec at the largest employer in town. Talk about spotlight.

Craig,

Just checking in... I love what you said about letting Jesus clean the crap out of your life! And I really like your latest posts on woog's thread about being on your own spiritual journey.

There's a new guy on the board, I thought you and your crew might be able to help him:

http://www.divorcebusting.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=1345653&page=1#Post1345653

Sounds like he is interested in DB'ing but maybe a little suspicious b/c it is not explicitly faith-based. I would hate to see him lose out on this community, especially because I know there are prayerful men like yourself who I think could really help him. Maybe you could stop by his thread and tell him this is a good place to be?
