A word of caution: You must read and understand scripture in context of the other passages. It does no good to throw out individual verses if you have not first read and sought to understand how they fit into the context. It is a misuse of scripture to do that.

10And in the house the disciples asked him again about this matter. 11And he said to them, "Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her, 12and if she divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery."
Luke 16:
