Penny, I just watched weather. It looks like ya'll are getting pounded with the snow and wind.
We had the most bizarre weather today. It got up to 76 today. Around 2:30 pm the wind started blowing really hard, gusts up to 40 and 50 mph. There was much structural damage and downed trees. Lots of people in the state lost power. Thankfully, we didn't have too much damage in my part of the state. The temperature started dropping rapidly. It is now 35 and is supposed to get down to the 20's. See what I mean about the weather changing around here!

Yoyo What state are you in? About 50 miles from me they really got snow. It isn't to bad here but the roads are slick and its cold. What a difference in the temperature.
Is doesn't take long for a temperature change here either...

It's a little chilly here in florida tonight too. Probably down to the low 60's. what a relief after a few days in New Orleans. they are not that much further north, but the difference is remarkable. I hope tomorrow will be sunny and warm. I had enough winter for this year. I don't know how I used to endure it.
Penny, I'm in Arkansas. It appears that we may have some damage to our pool. The wind blew part of the cover off. We had heavy concrete blocks holding the cover in place and some are now in the pool! We have an inground pool with a vinyl liner, it looks like there may be some water behind the liner.

Hope the pool damage isn't too bad Yoyo. It is so hard to keep a house together and functioning. We'll have to be careful about what we say. don't want to force our friends into cold showers. I guess we can't discuss lingerie again til it warms up.
