My D11 is home sick for the third day in a row. I sent an email to three people, including H, at work letting them know I wouldn't be in and why.

I have heard back from two, asking me about D11. My MIL also called about her.

H? Haven't heard from him.

I've said this before. I understand, to a degree, walking away and not caring about me.

But the girls?

I don't know that I will ever understand that.
