While we wait for the Lord to come through, we need to
give Him full reign in our situation. God desires to be in
control of our lives--this is something which we all need to
be constantly reminded of day by day.

Giving God control is not easy. This is hard to do, but if we
ask God to help us to allow Him to take control of our
lives, believe me, He will.

God will do whatever is necessary in order to prove to us
that He knows what He is doing when He takes control of our
circumstances. If we allow Him to do this, if we trust in Him and
commit our ways to Him, we will have peace in our hearts, as
these verses from the Old Testament show:

"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto
thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths."
(Proverbs 3:5-6)

"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed
on thee: because he trusteth in thee." (Isaiah 26:3)
God is involved in your situation. He simply can't be separated from any aspect of your life since He is the Creator, Sustainer, and Orchestrator of all that is. He is actively involved in all details of His creation.

We do not expect to understand fully the purpose for our
circumstances until our Lord calls us home to be with Him. But we do know that He loves us too much to harm us, and that He is far more concerned with our welfare than we are. God's choices are always right. He is capable of carrying out any project to a successful conclusion without the possibility of fault or failure. Nothing in His universe happens by chance or accident. Therefore God is never surprised. For every effect there is a cause. God "worketh all things after the counsel of His own will: That we should be to the praise of his glory" Eph. 1:11-12.

"Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for him" (Psa 37:7). "...and
having done all, stand." (Eph 6) Worrying can't change the situation anyway. As the saying goes: "Let go and let God." Trust in His infinite wisdom, that He has everything under control. Even a sparrow doesn't fall to the ground without his notice, Jesus said. The very hairs of your head are numbered. Believe, trust and allow the Lord to work out all the details in His timing.
