This is all well and good Frank but you're missing the qualifying statements that precede every single promise of God in the Bible.

Why Dee failed to mention that part, I do not know. Perhaps she has assumed that you have already given your life to Christ. Be that as it may, since I have not read anything of the sort, I am compelled to tell you if you are claiming anything of God to be yours, you have to first surrender your life to Him. You do that by speaking to Him and telling Him it is so. Ask Him into your heart and life. Until you do that, the enemy has the title deed to your life. Jesus is not going to come where He is not invited by YOU.

Surrendering 'control' to God is one of the things that has been in our discussions. It's only through surrender that we can allow the work to be done.

Yes, I understand what you are saying. I talk to God as I understand him and ask for guidance and strength. Lately I am asking what his will for ME is so I can let it be done.

Not to nitpick you to death Frank but you should make sure you understand Him to be exactly what His Word says He is. Anything outside of that would be opening doors you don't want to open.
