The rope should already be on the ground and should stay there unless she's tugging on the other side. I wouldn't phrase it as, "it's now your decision", because that says you're available whenever her other options are exhausted (and yes, I agree, she probably is playing the field looking for the best available option and you are her fallback plan). I don't know exactly how I'd word it, but I would lead her to understand that you intend to keep moving forward with your life in the positive direction it's going and it may not necessarily always include her.
