LL..you know this is his busy time... when you own your own business you work doubly hard...what things can you do for you that can help get through these busy days? I am sure it must be hard to have him gone so much...but comes winter he is around more, isn't he? I know that is not much to look forward to in May...does he have enough workers that can help take some of the load off..even a couple hours here and there.
Enjoy your vacation...it might just be what you need to refresh and renew.

Hi LL,

Love your rants! Who says you "cannot get mad" over all of those things??? Not me! Go right ahead.

I think your H needs to prioritize a bit. Okay so the work is really heavy this time of year. Granted. But your own yard...come on! Is it really so decrepit that he has to be out there every evening???

OMG LL, he should come and have a gander at our yard. We're proud to just have raked most of it so far!

When you get back from your trip (much needed, and I can sooo relate to the stress and anxiety of pulling it together...are there really people who can just throw a few things into a suitcase and take off, worry free? Yes there are, my BIL is one of them...lucky bastard!)

Why not just have a 'lil negotiation. How about one or two nights a week when the yard just "breathes". And LL and kids get more H time?

Just a thought.

Shiny

P.S. DO model the bathing suits...no expectations, just plant the seed...he knows other guys will be seeing you in them, right?

does me no good to get mad about these things wether I'm justified in being mad or not...expressing any of my frustrations over theese things will lead us right back to the past..."no matter what I do, it's just not good enough..you'll never be happy"

he is after all a landscaper...that old saying the cobblers child goes shoeless...doesn't exist in this house..we have a golf course for a lawn and that takes some effort. plus the clean up and all the trees he's taking down...now that area has to be cleaned up etc...he's a perfectionist..

Have you asked for one night? Some guys just don't get clues.
