BT - You really are starting to "get it." Keep up the fantastic work.

That post is your playbook. Lots of good stuff in there.

Thanks man!

Just got back from the gym and marrage Therapy, theapist said I was doing much better and hopes Sally returns with a new thought process. He said I was really taking charge of my life. I don't know it seems out of control right now.

I really miss her and need another one of her big hugs! She said she was going to call today before she got on the ship. I guess she will call tonight when the kids are here.

Don't get upset if she doesn't call today. She'll have a lot going on and chances are it'll be easy to loose track of time while also just getting worn out.

Glad to hear you've been able to get some solid footing under yourself. It's good to do and once you get ahold of yourself and control of your emotions you'll be able to weather this a whole lot better.

Catfan,

Thanks for the note and confidence. I realy am feeling better but have moments of uncontrolable thoughts. She called at 5 and sounded very nice. Only wanted to talk to me and told me to say hi to the kids. No R talk, no "miss you" or love ya. I have not tried to contact her at all and left that all up to her (DB). She also sent me a text picture of her in a life boat. She looked warn out and not good for such a great looking girl. I had a good cry after our call cause she will not be calling much from now on because it is very expensive from the ship. She will only e-mail and text unless she is on land. I hope she has a great time and comes back fresh and re-newed. Our therapist said he wanted her to go away and reflect on what she wanted from me and what she wanted from life and to let me know what she wanted from me in her life. I hope it is positive. I really miss her.

Thanks for your note,

Tree

Day three of her trip. No contact yesterday at all. She must be having a great time. My sister came over yesterday and spent some time talking, nice dinner, it was very good. She told me to think of good things like skiing with the boys this weekend. She also suggested that I start thinking about my life without wife just to prepar myself. Almost the same thing the theripist said when he told me to TAKE CHARGE. My Sister thinks that W will move out when she gets home. I don't think so, thought she has mentioned moving in with her girlfriend Githa. I hope not. I miss her very much and hope she is having a great time. (I slept great last night).

BT - Keep DBing, but trust your sister's instincts. It is amazing what your family can pick up. I had a real eye opening convo with my mom last night. She noticed major changes in my W years ago.

same here. my family thinks W was setting this up for years. In June we were married 20 years, a very important milestone, and she has been fixing the house up for two or three years so it now looks like something from Home and Gardens. I am spending the weekend with my twice divorced brother who is very insiteful.

BT - Thanks! I have done a real sh*tty job on the detaching and GAL. Things seem to get worse as the divorce proceedings progress.

Check out my man houndfan, he posted an update. He is the king. His wife really came around quickly. She also was having sex with him which I thought was a really good sign.

No contact from the cruise today. I miss her but today I feel really good and people I have talked to tell me that I seem much better. Spent some time with my Mom today at the house & Kids are keeping me busy and we are getting ready to go away to Vermont for my 48th bday. I was a very old freind today who is losing her husband to colon cancer at the age of 50. Made my problems seem like a pimple on someones butt. I thank God for all small gifts he gives me everyday! "Trust and Love".
