Hmm...then I think you need to show her the old fashioned ink well pen on your desk. The refillable kind. It's a bit messier but somehow more gratifying to use. Be careful when you show her how to suck up the ink, too much pressure on the lever and it squirts all over.
OK, I think we're ready for Tom's Party Thread in "Surviving". We were looking for a new topic to replace that "dating the of dead" fiasco we got into over there. I think Tom has stopped dating those cremated remains now, so this could be a real winner!!!! Hop on over NH.
Well, I dropped by my new friends office today to tell her about the pens I bought last night, she was thrilled, "what kind did you get!" It went all crazy from there, we began discussing the ins and outs of paper selection too. She's a virtual encyclopedia of stationary knowledge! I never knew that grams per square meter was a much more reliable gauge for paper than lbs. Who would have thought? Well, I now know the perfect paper to use for printing my quote collection. I may be getting way too optimistic here but I think a discussion about staplers may very well be in cards soon, you never really know what kind of wacky adventures lie ahead. I also need some duotangs...hmmm.
