There is no dilemma. Monkey is getting what she wants; Monkey is congruent. Reminds me of the story of the Frog and the Scorpion.
I agree that Monkey is congruent but the thing about Monkey is that she wins by losing or she loses by winning. Therefore, it may be the case that Monkey wins more when she loses worse. So, compare and contrast the following examples with the one I gave earlier.
Counterexample 1:
Wolf : Peel your banana.
Monkey : Okay.
Counterexample 2:
Wolf: Peel your banana.
Monkey: Why should I?
Wolf: Because you know that you want to.
Monkey (being a creature not above mild deceit): You wish.
Wolf: No. I know. (Pins down monkey and peels her banana.)
Actually, what my counter-example might point out is that the animal who has some issues with the monkey "winning" by "losing" is the lioness. For instance, it has been my experience that after a Wolf "wins" a few rounds with my Monkey, I feel pretty much compelled to bring in my Lioness if she hasn't already shown up. Then when the Wolf is collapsed on the floor by the bed or mumbling incoherently about issues related to his age and what he may or may not be up to anymore, the Monkey returns and does a little victory dance for the girl team.
