Doesn't your sitch with FSG leave you mostly without male recreational companionship on the weekends?
Okay, clearly, I am in a bit of a passive mode and I haven't exactly thought things through. FSG's tentative plan is to fly me out once a month for the weekend. He does not think this plan is ideal because he is HD which is why I suggested non-exclusivity to which he replied "I don't care if you don't claim me. I claim you." Apparently he is reading simple common sense on my part as "playing hard to get" or something like that. REALLY it is freakin' ridiculous for me to even be wasting one minute of typing on contemplating/analyzing a relationship that is so very very very proto. I think the one thing I can honestly say is that I do prefer to be in a relationship that is open-ended and fluid rather than pre-determined and defined at the moment. If I end up with a hot weekend that's cool. If I end up with a long-distance f*ck-buddy then that's cool until it's not. If I end up in a torrid love affair then that's hot until it's not. If I end up in a successful, passionate LTR then obviously that would be great. BUT I'm not trying for anything in particular.
Oh yeah, I should add that if I just end up with a very funny story to tell my HD granddaughter about the ancient days of internet dating then that's cool too - lol at image of me as crazy granny.
