Geez, hairdog, you take all the sport out of it! \:\(

You're remembering that the ONLY relationship I had in four years of Catholic girls' high school AND four years of Catholic women's college was with a professor when I was a senior in college. And that this man called me the year after my H died-- 30 years after I had last seen him-- and wanted to pick up where we left off. He had heard my voice on the Diane Rehm Show one morning FIVE YEARS PREVIOUSLY and looked up my phone number. (He lives in another state), and called, coincidentally, a year after I became a widow. Guess I made an impression on hin, huh? ;\) But I digress...

Okay, here's what past students wrote on the "rate my professors" web site (note that the only one who didn't like him is illiterate):

Quote:
*ok, many like this teaher. i dont know why. i couldn't stand HIM and his BIG bag of B.S. he is good@ graphic arts but that doesn't nessesairly mean he's good at teaching. he's REALLY picky and hard to understand. and his projets were boring. And talks WAAY too much! i passed, but still. i wouldn't take him again.everyday was a drag.

*the best graphic arts teacher at [the college]. more helpful and knowledgeable than all the other teachers combined. very passionate about his subject, he actually knows what he is doing. take him if you really want to learn. he should teach all graphic arts classes.

*[The Prof] is a digital design god. he is an open book of knowledge. Accept any opportunity to talk with him. And he is hot too.

*One of the best instructors I have ever had. I would take him again and again. I have learned more in his class than I ever have in any other class. Don't miss a chance to take him!

*An amazing, inspirational instructor that will teach you everything he knows with passion. I learned more in his class than every other class combined. Will push you to your limits, not easy, but fair. The first professor at [the college] that actually teaches graphic design as it should be taught. Teaches afternoons only [sic], Typography and Digital Paint.

I declare the comma wars ended. I surrender.
