You sound so wonderful today SO2. Don't you love days where you wake up in a good mood. They are so few and far apart. My H sounds very much like yours (except the booze and drugs part). His addiction is spending. He gives me a hard time about the Child Support also. He thinks that we shouldn't go through the courts that he will help with bills and diapers and stuff. This is a man that will spend 90% of his paycheck the day he gets it and then have nothing to live on for the next 2 weeks. I am not exaggerating. So, do you really think I'm going to trust him to give me CS without a legal document. I think not. It makes him really angry because he thinks he's going to get reamed in the courts and I'm going to have all this money to party with. Yes, that's what I'll be doing: partying it up with my newborn. He's very unrealistic. But, I feel for you.

It's probably wise not to mention the L stuff to your XH until you absolutely have to. Why fuel the fire.

Hang in there. It sounds like today is starting off great. Have a good one and keep us posted.
