First ILY in over 18 mos!!

Hello All!

Just found out my last thread is locked - so here are some updates.

H gave me my first ILY on Christmas Day - yeah!!! It was so good to finally hear this I literally wept with joy! Our holidays were great, we went to WI before Christmas, enjoyed playing with the kids and their new Wii, and attended a wedding on New Yrs eve - actually stayed overnight and woke to 15" of snow!

So we have been given a second chance and it really was a combo of DB'ing, my perserverance (big time) and going to Retrouvaille - H felt that helped us the most. We are not dialoguing as much as we should be but we are being very open and honest with each other and our feelings - something H has a hard time doing...

So I do believe in parts of DB'ing - especially working to change YOU and attracting your mate back (that is if they can get their head out of their a$$ long enough to see your changes are for real...).

We are truly appreciating each other and are taking it day by day - my mantra has always been BABY STEPS. Things did not go bad overnight and they will not all be fixed overnight either!!

I wish everyone a happy 2008 - these last two years I'd rather forget but can't really - they helped change me/us for the better and gave us a shot at a solid M until death do us part!!
