{{{NikB}}} I'm sorry to hear about your grandma. I went through this same thing almost exactly a year ago with my grandmother who developed severe leukemia, refused treatment, and died a couple weeks later. I know what you mean about not seeing her though and hoping she dies quickly. When I think back, I am glad I remember seeing her at their 60th wedding anniversary the summer before dancing and laughing with all the family and not sick in bed. I am also glad she died quickly and was allowed to die at home with a lot of morphine so she was comfortable and with her children (I went up for the funeral, but not her convalescence).

I am glad your convo with your H went so well. Hope the car thing is fun.
