Good to hear from you. I am glad your d is doing better.
You sound good. How is the job going? I can't wait to finish school. Sometimes I think I am going to get so exhausted from finishing my degree that I won't want to teach once it is all over.
Well I am also sorry to say that Bruce is coming but I can't afford to go this time.
Well, that was my first offical intro to bronchitis with my kids and it was awful. My poor D could have coughed up a lung. It was terrible. Hope your sis is doing better! How is your D? Hope she is feeling better, too!
Mermaid!
Hey girlie! How is school? So good to hear from you!
Don't fret, school is the hard part; really it is! I look back and think about student teaching last year, studying for my certification exam AND taking care of two kids who had a freakin wacko dad that had just left..
Phew..made me tired just typing that!
Anyway, if I can do so can you!! So so proud of you!!
Bruce..I have to say I got ticket for the NJ shows at Giants Stadium in July. I hate to say, I am spoiled since I have been given tickets from him over the past ten years. I am not used to getting nosebleed seats!! lol I was put on his guestlist and used to go and grab the tickets from Will Call booth. It was so cool to be able to go to the little festivities before the show and see celebrites. In Florida, I had front row and Bruce saw my friend and I and ran across the stage and waved..it was really cool! He is so great. My D saw him at a local fair last summer and he ran up to her and said, hey I know you! She was so excited!
Other than going down Bruce Memory Lane nothing is too exciting around here--I am thankful for that, though! New Guy and his D8 coming for pizza and we are all going to get cozy and watch a movie.
Basketball games tomorrow but I will see how my poor kids are doing with their medical conditions. S jammed his right middle finger in a game last night and my D hasn't been able to do much with her cough. We will just play it by ear. I just love Saturdays so we can veg out in the a.m. Sundays, too.
Okay, off to do some work around the house..Carpets just cleaned so I am motivated to do some more straigthening up.
Let me do a little lowdown on my buddy SA3..I apologize for not addressing this in my last post..I was preoccupied by whining kids..lol
SA3 is in a beautiful new house. She worked her butt off and sold her other home..She is working at a law firm just about full-time,running a local lacrosse program, taking care of two WONDERFUL kids and getting them back and forth to activities, etc and hanging out with her WAH. She is one strong lady as she continues to not let anyone or anything get in her way..She is an awesome friend, too.
Since both of us are working now, we don't see as much of each other but did spend New Year's Eve together, which was GREAT..We have a few pops together and just start to laugh about all the stuff we went through. I THANK GOD I had her and still do..What a support system.
So, that is the SA3 lowdown..I had to add to her post as she is too humble to list all that she has accomplished. She is truly a role model for everyone here as her WAH left over five years ago. She continues to welcome him into their home, go to parties together now (he was there on New Year's Eve) and do family functions as a family. So, we will see. All I know is that I have always admired her..
