I get up at 5am almost every weekday. Sometimes, I don't get to bed until after 11am. Here's some of the things that help me:
1. The knowledge that, if I don't get moving, a dog may pee on the floor.
2. Coffee. On a timer.
3. Unwavering sense of duty and sacrifice for others.
4. NPR.
5. A full bladder.
6. Amphetamines.
7. Explosive flatulence.
