You know what... IC. I'm a walking medical mystery right about now... truth be known. I haven't told anyone.

I've had chronic pink eye for about 10 months now. I've been tested out the wassue for it, too.. they thought, at first, it was just... you know... pink eye. And they treated. It got better. It came back. Went for allergy tests... extensive... steroids, antibiotics... this, that the other thing... allergy meds... more tests... it's been going on now for... oh... hmmm... 10 months? Imagine having pink eye for 10 months. well. you have cancer. no comparison. but still. nothing works. nothing.

latest round... the strongest of antibiotics you can prescribe for 10 days... drops... orals... everything...

and if it doesn't work... me and my history are off to a specialist. I've been scouring the internet... trying this, stopping that... nothing works.

I seem to have a virus I can't shake. Or a bacteria I can't shake. Nothing like cancer. But doc's don't like viruses/bacteria a person can't shake. why?

It isn't anything like cancer. I'm just not used to not being able to shake something. Whatever it is I have, it isn't passing to others. It has nothing to do with allergies. Nothing to do with things to which I come into daily contact.

The very strongest anti-biotic on the planet, in the strongest does.... doesn't clear it... but it could be because I didn't take it long enough ( I just recently had surgery, and I was put on it for precautionary reasons). So doc's are starting all over again... highest does, longest time frame...

And now she has a worried look on her face. If this doesn't work, I'm headed off to specialists. Stuff from the surgery isn't healing right... more antibiotics...

it isn't helping. I can see it.

Whew.

They can do this, they can do that. Let's do this first. Don't worry.

Nod.

Okay.
