Got the letter from my lawyer today about H's financial statement. Hmmm pretty accurate actually.

This was sent to his lawyer and he should get it next week.
This is what the letter says"

I have your correspondence from January Blah Blah Blah

I can advise you that I touched base with my client who indicated to me that there have been some recent developments in the situation at home and she has requested that I advise you of the same. I indicated to her that I was prepared to meet with her before my vacation, however she has requested that I put off that meeting until my return in mid- February, 2008, so that she can evaluate the changes at home

Hopefully these people are wotking through a number of these issues and, in any event I will be in touch with you in the middle of February,2008

Should I get my statement ready or just stand?

I could also show him my copy, but if he gets it in the mail at least he will have a few hours to digest it/or fester before I get home.

I would not show him ahead of time. I think there are reasons that some communication is best done through the lawyers.

Yes, you are going to have to tread lightly.

A couple questions:
Is this going to upset him? OK, you don't know, the answer might be different in 20 minutes, but what do you think?

And, as things have been changing so much, or so little, or perhaps both, lately, what does it mean to you?

I think , he will think,that I am trying to hold him back, to a certain extent.

He wil ask what makes me think there is anything different?

I think I have seen him happier at times especially when there is no talk of lawyers or letters from lawyers. Or R talk, and that is why I would like to wait and see.

But I do not think he will see it my way.

Wow! that was a mouth full and a bit confusing.
