Hi, starting the New Year on a positive note, I thought this might be a thread of things we are currently doing or plan on doing the New Year. My personal antidote to doom and gloom!

So Tuesday I took the afternoon off work and went to try out and hire an early keyboard instrument. My apartment doesn't have space for a piano really, and I thought about a harpsichord, but that is technically very demanding and VERY different from piano.

I fell in love with these quiet instruments, and so it is arriving next Thursday. Please post your plans and dreams here, and perhaps we can inspire each other.

Great plans, but what does the expression mean? Indentured service? Self employment, selling your body on the internet? Is it a American English concept that we poor dorks across the Atlantic will struggle with?

I like this thread.

I am going sky diving with my best friend down in the lower 48 this summer. If the chute doesn't open...I'll enjoy the view the whole way down.

I will finish 2 of my stories and seek out an agent and publisher.

I will be 190-195 lbs. Or the neccesary weight for abs to show.

I will build a treehoue with my boys.

I will get Kareem Abdul Jabar googles to sword fight again.

I will get my rabbit tattoo.
