Well here I am, same story as usual. It will be 3 years in February that my H left home. I am still hanging in there. Nothing has really changed. We get along great. We go out as a family on birthdays, spent the holidays together like usual and just live our lives separate.
He has finally opened up and asked for help with a few things. He isn't keeping things bottled up anymore. I just take it one day at a time. They said it could take years to come out of MLC and now, I believe them. I think my H is sticking the top of his head out. I still have a long way to go with him but that is ok.
We have not legally separated or anything. Bills are still in both names, house still in both names (he still pays for it), he helps with anything I need help with.
We had a great Christmas. I got lots of nice gifts from him and the girls. As I have said before, I get better gifts now than when he was at home.
I did buy myself a "teacup" chihuahua for Christmas. I love her to death. She has been my happiness. Since getting her, I have become a happier person. I enjoy things again. She keeps me busy so I don't have time to get depressed.
I still have down days but less of them and they don't last very long. If I made a list of positives and negatives, the positives win by a mile.
Not sure who all will read this, just wanted to let everyone know I am still alive and still hanging in there.
Yes, a puppy is the answer. At least it was for me. I had a choice of another man or a puppy.......hmmmmm, there really wasn't a choice there. LOL!!!!!
I had some on myspace but I canceled that. Refresh my memory on your email and I will send you a pic. If you need my email again, it is mozingo89@yahoo.com
She is just the cutest thing. She doesn't quite weigh 2 pounds yet. She won't get much bigger either. She was only 15 ounces when I got her. She has a nice sweater and a jogging suit to wear. If only I can get her to put the jogging suit on. She squirms too much.
