RJ,
Thanks for giving me so much support.

So, what was the ankle incident that restored your faith?

PS, You are so welcome, and right back at you!

The ankle incident is such a weird story that I better tell you about it in e-mail, before MWD looks me up and has me committed!

RJ,

How are you and H? As my DS16 gets older and I see the signs of manhood in him I find I want even more to fix our marital woes as an example to him. He is such a good kid. Being the oldest during the D he is protective of me, we are really close.

Karen, Thank you for checking in on me. As LFL puts it, H and I have achieved a steady state, where we keep a regular sex life and check in with each other. It may not be wildly passionate, but it is really, really nice. If a few days go by without us ML, he most definitely will address it, and I feel comfortable bringing stuff up to him. Most of the time now I am relatively LD, but every now and then an HD wave comes through! He is back to himself in so many ways, just really a nice guy, no more affair jerkiness and guilt. We've learned the hard way that we want to be together, and the sex, somehow, isn't such a big deal anymore.

I still think the way to deal with these fused situations on this board is by being repeatedly asssertive and directive, just to get things moving along....maybe a cushioned baseball bat?

How did that dinner party go?

Hi RJ

Just wanted to check in and say thank you for sticking the messages on the Western Wall. I definitely think it worked for me. I'm curious what time was it when you put them on the wall?

Hi Fran, I put them on the Wall on Sunday, Dec. 23, at approximately 10 AM Jerusalem time. Jerusalem is 7 hrs ahead of NY, if that helps ( I know you're across the pond).

Jerusalem is really a cool place. In a small area, you hear the sound of the call for the Muslims to go their way, while the Orhtodox Jews are scurrying their way, and people are lined up to get a glimpse inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchure. It's all so confusing and interesting and mishy-moshy that our tour guide would call it the Muddle East. Touching the Wall, well, it DID feel spiritual. Jerusalem is hard on ankles, though...there is stone everywhere, everything is cream colored limestone.

Anyway, glad you're having more peace of mind, Fran.

Shoot me an email with her name, so I don't have to sign it: from the little 5 yr old girl whom the IC's met at the chemo place with the 26 yr old divorced single mom who had a great play date with the IC's daughters. I mean, I will end up signing it that way anyway, knowing me, just to make sure, but if you get a chance, I'd like the name too!

RJ,
Ok, you kind of got me little hooked on the power of prayer...I got a call yesterday from this mom, little D is wanting to come back over to our "tree house" to play with our girls again but more importantly, they found a matching donor for a bone marrow transplant for her \:\)

Don't know if you used the super glue I sent ya...or gum...or whatever to put that note on the wall for her but....thank you!

IC, I am so happy you have kept in contact with little D and her mom! This kind of thing just makes me smile, smile, smile.

As far as the notes go, it was kind of funny...I had D15 with me, and we are trying to find the right places for these notes, but it's hard because there isn't much space, and it was a real puzzle, and we're both perfectionists, and so on. We were taking entirely too long, and we end up just giggling and cracking each other up, right there at the Wall. And personally, I think it's all right, because I think God wants us to laugh.

So I thank you, and the other note givers, because I got to share an awesome moment with my daughter.
