So I put the kids down to sleep last night and proceeded to fall asleep myself on the couch with H. He attempted to get something going but I wasn't having any of it. I was exhausted. Jeez, come on, every day this week already. A woman needs to rest. Be careful what you wish for.
Well, this morning, as he was shuffling the kids off to swim lessons, he said "Don't think we are not hving sex this afternoon. I dare you to stop me. In fact I encourage it."
So I take that as an open invitation to put up a fight. We'll see if he can step up to the challenge, lol.
So his initiative is still full force. But I need to make sure today goes well, and by that I mean tell him with some words of affirmation how much I'm enjoying this time together. I don't think I do that enough. I need to praise more, complain less. See, I'm learning.
