I'm not emailing it because I have done that tack before to no avail. Last night H was at work until midnight - we talked four or five times between 6pm and midnight but he was waiting for some workmen to get done with something. I was asleep when he got home. I cannot wait indefinitely but the tack above sounds about right for the next step. Or, at least, it can't get any worse.

No. He does really well in various settings but I do think that when we dated he took the "with your permission" thing a little far.
