We use 1/2 two different rooms and of course this computer is for company . Keep client records, accounting, etc. on it.
Actually, many attornies call H for advice on how Gov. is applying laws and how H is interrupting laws per real field application. Honest, they will never admitt it but attornies call him. Problem with this business is so tied to economy and competeing against regional and national engineering firms. When Ds are in office there is a lot more work for small business, believe it or not. So back to our actual work, we do an "environmental audit" of a property and if possible problems, goes to next level. Which often called phase II, now there is some $$$$ involved, except. Except for last couple years most are stopping project and not investing $$$. NYS is starting to want geological surveys for artifacts, [hundreds to thousands of years ago] H is on NYS as geologiest to do this work, again, goes to next level where there is real money, STOP! rough business. We hope NYS will expand geological work and then more $$$$ for our coffers.

By pursuing I mean inviting him out for dinner when he's in town, maybe say there's a movie you'd like to see. I don't think talking to him is necessarily pursuing. How often does he come around?

H has not mentioned "three buds" for a long time. Maybe he finally got it!!! Yes, we have dinner when he is in town. H appears about every 6 wks or 2 months. funny last time @ resturant all I could keep thinking about was, well when out to dinner with OW, what do they talk about./ I know I know, keep OW out of my head.
Movie idea will not work, I'd love to go to one with him. He rents a car, pushes and pushes all day, and then to tired by evening for movie . H would be snorring through it and peopled start throwing boxes of popcorn at him. lol

You are absolutely correct, H is afraid to make any decisions, any! To be honest just do not know what to do or rather how to change my behavior to hopefully improve the situation. I thought the rent office and having squirreled some money on side would help. Nothing from him, it not only does not help our situation, it hurts too. Here I am, hope I've found a way to mix us with other professionals, help our situation and he won't do anything! What do you do??? With H two states away there is no reason to rent an office and yet what do I do? Everyone tells me to get a seperation agreement to protect assets but then H can divorce me asap and I'm not about to do that for my own well being (long term). We can not just sit in a vacuum either. By doing vacuum mode we are loosing everything. Oh yes, H's other response to $$$ problems is well we will just have to declare bankruptcy. Except that means what little estate my parents had I loose. Already have put thousands from estate into keeping us afloat.
I must find some sort of work, just must. I can not change or push H to move on anything, so what are my options and how do go about them???? Speaking of that was another issue with moving north, forget R and H moving into a mobile home. I will take a big financial and life style hit.
