Wow! Just found this thread and some of these are so familiar. Any of these sound famialiar to you?

"I have tried in the past and I don't want to try now." - Still trying to figure out how he tried, I missed that.

"You won't let me leave." - Oh, please stay here so we can continue to make each other misserable.

"I don't see any hope."

"It is you and the kids and then me."

"I'm not confortable doing things as a family."

"Don't you think I want to tell you look good?" - Then do it.

"I want it to mean something." Ok, is that why you keep stringing me along?!

"We don't communicate." Well, maybe we should start trying that.

I have also heard the before mentioned: I haven't been happy for years, The kids have nothing to do w/ it.
