Hello and Happy New Year to Pam, Snodderly, Naej & everyone else!
Pam speaks the truth. I started here over 6 years ago, thinking my world had ended. In truth, I just had to go down a new road and life is still full of discoveries every day.
Like my friends here - we didn't know what was going to happen but we did our best to pick up our pieces and make lemonade out of our lemons (for years that was the theme of my threads).
I raised 3 kids on my own - ex married his OW and they're still together. But that doesn't matter. Because I have my own life. Yes, a boyfriend, but he is not my whole world. I have new friends, new hobbies and a continuing close R with my children.
I think the hardest part for me was the fear of the unknown. But it has all worked out just fine.
I'm all for marriage saving when you possibly can. But it takes 2 and when doesn't want it - you have to do what is best for you!
