I heard on the news that in Japan they were asking people not to send txts at midnight because it backlogged the system so much. W is in a remote area so that txt certainly could have been delayed. That happens often enough that a txt or voice mail is delayed. Maybe she was waiting for you to txt her first! Did I make enough excuses yet?
I like what imlin wrote for a note, including 'like you'. How long's it been since you wrote something complimentary? Has she said she doesn't like it? many people just don't know how to accept a compliment, it makes them uncomfortable. Remember! you're not expecting her to fall into your arms, you are just trying to express something to her in a nice way. Go a little further on the limb, it might hold more than you know.
