Another year....

I had a friend call this morning to wish me a Happy New Year and for this one to be much better than the last 2 years.

I can only hope that I can keep focused and stay on track and move forward with out blocking him out and becoming bitter or angry or upset.

I sent him a text msg that simply said... happy new year.
About 2 hrs later he replied ... same to u
well at least he replied.

last yr we drove out to the beach together and he told me he was
trying to figure things out.

I truly believe he was at that point. Now he has been gone for so long there is no coming back. my gut is telling me this is where he is at.

I still love him but need to love me and my life first.......
