Thanks for stopping by, Lin. I always enjoy your input, and your stories. Your capacity to get through this with your H is amazing. I don't see it, necessarily with W, in a twisted sort of way I think she needs to have an MLC if this is going to work. Her course now is so well set, maybe an MLC would actually knock her off it! That's a scary thought!

She gets back Friday. We've still got work to do, but the older kids are starting to feel the need, so I think we'll be fine!

I look forward to your update! I'm so glad, in a sad way, that I've met you guys. In a short time, you have become good friends!

Have a great New Year! Talk to you soon!

Jeff, that wrapper thing....does your W ever use that car?

The next few days will pass fast and before you know it you'll be out of time to get that list done.
How did the science project turn out?

Happy New Year!

Hi pal!
That made me laugh! W almost never uses that car, she has one that is much more hers. I guess nothing is impossible, but that's pretty close! Seeing how often I don't use that mirror, I just can't say for sure that it couldn't have been there when I got the car in June. I've decided to keep my mouth shut, and my eyes and ears open! Not a bad way to do things in a lot of cases.

Science fair stuff is nearly done. We'll get the experimental stuff done tomorrow. That puts us ahead of the curve for getting the presentations done, we have a few weeks, and I think we'll be able to do each of them in one weekend day, maybe less for the fourth grader.

The rest of the list looks pretty good. I need to mail a few things, I pass the Post Office on the way to work (where I am supposed to go starting Wednesday). I might take Thursday off, depending on how the kids do Wednesday.

Still have no idea where the anklet is, there just isn't any place that makes sense. I'm glad I have the gift I got her a while ago, which she found before she left. Did I tell that story? I dunno! It was good that she found it since I always shop late, and she knows I got this one early!

wwhheeww, I'm glad you could laugh about that! I wasn't sure if I should ask but 'enquiring minds' want to know.

Maybe W found that ankle bracelet and thought 'hhmm, I don't remember when I bought that but I'll take it with me on this trip'.

You're taking off Friday to pick her up at the airport and meet her with flowers, RIGHT?????

You know, sometimes I think it would be better if she WAS having an affair. For one thing, it would be something to feel guilty about that she was doing. As it is, she only has to feel guilty for what she is NOT doing, I think that's probably a lot easier for her. Also, her not having an affair really does make it seem that she really couldn't care less about a physical relationship, which is a bit disturbing, and frightening for me. And makes me wonder how I trust things to stay better if they ever get better. Remembering that this is the second time we've gone more than three years.

The anklet got here after she left, so I know she doesn't have it! Maybe it will be a Valentines or anniversary (Feb. 16) gift!

She gets in after 9 pm Friday, so I won't have to take off work. I work near the airport, so I'll probably stay late, and pick her up. Do you think I should take flowers? I've never really been a flower person (which might be a good reason to do it). What would I take?
