I think my first instict says why bother asking, if your having fun, continue to have fun. She will decide on her own timeline. If you ask it is pursueing which is against DB'ing, which I think applies to all R.
You do have a right to ask, but why would you. She is confused, your not a jerk, her bf moved hours away. She has to deal with that. I'm sure she felt totally connected to him again when he came through town. But if he isn't going to be there for her, then how does that make you a jerk. Just enjoy the hikes, board games, and movies.
It's not like your getting married or anything, this is the dating world. It sounds like your assessing the situation from a M stand point, like your ruining something. In the dating world, what happens will happen. Sort of a wild west, no rules, just enjoy the good times and don't be surprised at the bad ones that happen. That is dating.
