Cinders and Mickey , truthfully my h was a great father before this MLC madness. He raised his children well. I believe they are teh product of a great marriage.

And thank you, I love them dearly, and we can talk. But I don't push it. I respect their space.

Angelica .....see that just shows what a great mom you are !

I'm so happy to hear that your H was a great dad ! It's all we want really isn't it.....

I think my H left because he thought our life had become too mundane...he needs the kick, the thrill, the passion. He does not believe in 'just settling' being at ease with each other, knowing that you will be there through good and bad, because to him it sounds as if that will make the relationship boring.

It is a shame, for he has put a great woman aside ! Like many men out there .....they will never find what they had with us in another. I strongly believe that ! xxx

Jeanette,

Good for you on the quitting smoking! I did in June. I used prayer and a hypnotherapy tape. It worked well instead of gaining my usual 35 pounds, I have only 10. That is bad but not as bad as it could be.

Angelica,

You comments about your H being a good dad before this...mine was too. S20 was upset with his dad today. They had made plans to meet twice in the last few days. He has backed out both time. First time because he forgot the things they were returning from Christmas because OW was sick the night before and he had to take care of her...oh please! Today he told him he forgot. S20 was so angry...he said I wish I could count on him like I used to. I want so much to tell him off but I know that I have stay back and let them work it out. He does this kind of thing to both of the boys.

Every time we think he is coming out of this MLC stuff, he does stuff like that and shows me he is still deep in it.

Everything happens for a reason, maybe Dad needs to find that it isn't better out there, he needs to realize how good he had it here. Maybe he will find God and that is the most important thing when he finds Him he will know he is supposed to come home.

Hi ANM,

I am sorry about your h disappointing his sons. Very difficult to understand. My ex spends most of his time trying to make S look bad. Not sure why....friends have said that he seems to be jealous of him. Sad.

Mickey

Mickey, your ex tries to make your son look bad? Are you serious? What an idiot! I think he is crazy.
