Saffie, I will not lie. When I selected the song, I thought of you (two reasons: British pop music, and we are the same age). I had no doubt that you would applaud the choice. No kidding.

Queen is my absolute favorite group. As a kid I had "A Night at the Opera" and "A Day at the Races" and "News of the World." Wow. Say what you want about Freddie Mercury, he was one damn talented musician.

At one time, I told my wife that the song "You're My Best Friend" reminded me of her (John Deacon wrote the song for his wife. And they are still married to this day!). But is my wife my "best friend?" Not any more.

OK, time for a new best friend.... any takers? Queue up to the left, please....

You'll have to get the crowd control patrol ready for us!

I agree Freddie Mercury had the most amazing voice. Here's to the eighties! Good years, huh?

Yeah, Yoyo. Queen was one of a kind. Like I said, really my favorite of all time.

And the "good years?" Yeah, I guess so, but for me, the best years are 2008 & beyond.

And yes, I agree about the crowd control. I do need to speak to Saffie though. I may need to borrow a whip...

Which opens up an entirely different chapter, doesn't it...? Especially since the "better years" begin in four days...

Mark for 2008 I see you having a wife that will be waiting for you when you get home from work in just a robe and a drink made as you come in the door. Then one that asks you to make mad passionate love to her. Then after she tells you how wonderful you are. To thank you for your awesome skills she gives you a complete rub down. Then says honey you worked so hard today why don't you take a nap while I get dinner cooked. Then after dinner she says honey why don't you go watch football why I do the dishes and take the dog out to poop. Then later before bed she gives you a sponge bath, dresses you and asks if there is any other wish you would like before bed.

hehehehe thought that scenario might make you smile. You deserve to smile a whole lot more.
