I gave up a wonderful job believing in ex's promises.
I gave up my retirement, job and moved to another state believing her promises. And she thinks she should be able to just walk away.

I like the way you're thinking. I think I would rather have some boots if that's okay. It's funny how they both sort of set things up with complete dishonesty. It speaks volumes of one's character. Although, it hurt terribly, I realized that this was not the type of person that I could ever really trust. And he thought that he could stay in my life after all that was discovered.
