I just discovered this site. I love your story and I am going to cut and paste it into a word document and save it on my desktop so that I can read it often.

Someone on this thread talked about it being a God Stop. I just finished a bible study by Beth Moore called Believing God (wonderful inspiring study) in the homework there was a place for God Stops. I love that term and this is surely one of them.

Everything happens for a reason, maybe Dad needs to find that it isn't better out there, he needs to realize how good he had it here. Maybe he will find God and that is the most important thing when he finds Him he will know he is supposed to come home.
