Can anybody find me somebody to love?
Each morning I get up I die a little
Can barely stand on my feet
Take a look in the mirror and cry
Lord what you're doing to me
I have spent all my years in believing you
But I just can't get no relief, Lord!
Somebody, somebody
Can anybody find me somebody to love?

I work hard every day of my life
I work till I ache my bones
At the end I take home my hard earned pay all on my own -
I get down on my knees
And I start to pray
Till the tears run down from my eyes
Lord - somebody - somebody
Can anybody find me - somebody to love?

(He works hard)

Everyday - I try and I try and I try -
But everybody wants to put me down
They say I'm goin' crazy
They say I got a lot of water in my brain
Got no common sense
I got nobody left to believe
Yeah - yeah yeah yeah

Oh Lord
Somebody - somebody
Can anybody find me somebody to love?

Got no feel, I got no rhythm
I just keep losing my beat
I'm ok, I'm alright
Ain't gonna face no defeat
I just gotta get out of this prison cell
Someday I'm gonna be free, Lord!

Find me somebody to love
Can anybody find me somebody to love?

Yep, another oldie. Although the title doesn't fit very well, the lyrics are spot-on. How many of us have had folks tell us that we "got no common sense" when they see us DBing? Heck, my wife has said as much!!!

Not much new going on.... just a boring journal tonite, I guess....

It was a very good day today. I had two very long converstations with some close freinds who live out of town. What a boost for my PMA. Just what I needed, really, as I wallow through the purgatory of my life with a non-commital wife.

Watching college football on TV now (did anybody else see what that Texas assistant coach did??? D'oh!!!!). Anyway, I just saw a TV commercial for my gym... I need to get back into the groove of going there regularly. It's a great place.... and I am getting so fat!!! But that's for 2008.... gonna eat and drink my way through 2007!!

Oh, for those wondering, I've been helping with the puppy, which is a complete 180 for me. At least a 180 from what she expected. He pooped under the Christmas tree just as we were sitting down to dinner tonite. Yeah, nice present... But I cleaned it up without complaint.

Gotta hit the bed. I am very tired....

lol, oh mark, that is just awesome. I don't mean to laugh, but it just so says it all...you are cleaning up the mess your w brought into your home. from affair to puppy, you are left dealing with the sh!t. and you are doing it cheerfully! seriously. you are awesome.

OK, truth be told, it wasn't all cheerful....

It just lacked the grumbling and complaining that typically accompany the removal of dog feces from carpeting while others are sitting down to eat dinner...

And thanks for your support, Sally.

well, I suppose cheerful is too strong a word...but you've been stoic and calm and cool about dealing with your wife, and you were again with the dog. I don't know, I like the parallel somehow.

and at least you weren't the one eating with eau de doggy wafting thru the air. you had the sense to get rid of it first.

Hang in there, Mark - you really ARE doing awesome, even if you yourself don't always see it.

2008 is going to be a good year for you - settle for nothing less! \:\)
