Hello to both of you...thanks for checking on me...

We are still plugging along - had our second to last Retro session last night. There are more details to share but don't want to jinx it right now.

I am at peace right now - trying to truly get into the Christmas spirit for my kids!!

Happy Monday!

Heartbroken,

Congratulations on graduating from Retrouvaille. I know that you have come a long way. If you are like us, there is more to go. But I was surprised to find, it wasn't that much further to really get strong enough to deal with our problems.

Hello Limbo,

Well things are going great here - and I thought they were since 12/8 but did not want to 'jinx' it right then. On Christmas day H told me he loved me - first time in over 18 mos...WOW it felt so good to hear and know that he really meant it! The ironic thing is I think OW sent a Merry Xmas TM to his phone (from online then the phone number does not appear) - but despite her attempts HE is FINALLY MINE!!!

We need to start dialoging more but overall things are great! I sometimes worry he will have a change of heart (again) but he says no - he finally realized he was placing to much blame on me for his unhappiness and once he realized this things started to change!

I am so grateful for where we are at right now and so thankful I did not give up when he wanted me to so so so long ago...

I hope you are doing well too!! Let me know!

HB (not so broken anymore - healing is good!) \:\)

Congratulations HB! That is really great news. It is unbelievable how it slowly gets better and better, isn't it? You worry and worry, and then one day you realize that you are not worrying anymore, that it feels ok. And then everything gets easier. I am so happy things are working out well for you.

HB!!

What a wonderful Christmas you must have had! That is such great news!
I am doing well, H and I are really seeming to settle, and it is getting easier.
We had a wonderful christmas, and are looking forward to putting this year behind us!
We also have found that dialoguing is so important, we weren't doing it enough either and found that it let some of the fears return, but now we are dialoguing more and it really does help.
Its almost like going to AA, if you don't do it you can see how you can slip off the wagon!

HB, what wonderful news. Holidays are a bad time as OW always will do smoething. but I feel that it actually helps to test the water to see if the H's are truly committed. What a wonderful X'mas present. I am so happy for you.

We just came back from a ski trip. Had a good time.
