I envy you and Corri because I feel that both of you have a tremendous opportunity.

Well... most of the guys that I've looked up who live within a 50 mile radius of me, all wear ball caps and are keen on showing off their trucks/cars/motorcycles in their profile photos. They probably like Travis Tritt and Bud Light, too. \:\)

Not that there is anything wrong with that... but gosh, so NOT me.

I've been thinking and thinking about it, too... I don't want a puppy dog... though very cute... they are a real pain in the azz. They chew on things, pee/poop on your floor... you have to TRAIN them... they run off whenever they feel like it... and those thoughts, paired with a man, leaves me with a general 'gross' feeling.

Not looking for a pirate, either. Bad teeth and poor hygene.

Maybe an Indiana Jones type. (I wouldn't kick Harrison Ford out of bed, either).

Mojo Try to date some white guys even though I don't want to.
????????? I know it is your life Mo, but as I remember my Army days, it was the black guys that had the best lines, even though they were lines more than substance.

I am not saying it was all oneway, but I heard more BS in black than white.

Karen1 I think that at our age every pot is bent it is merely a question of whether that bend matches the ding in your lid.

I liked how you put that Karen1. 5^

I was in the Army, too, and um...that's not their only advantage...and definitely not the one that springs to the forefront of my mind.

As in hung like a horse? I saw it on the internet but not so much while I was in the Army. I do remember the BS lines some guys fed their GFs.

I wasn't thinking along those horse lines. I was thinking what he talks and what he acts or can he walk the talk.

My Army experience was some guys had great lines for more than one woman, at the same time. Maybe that is part of my anti-player mentality.

Mojo's H/PAL was so negative, so uncomplimentary, I bet it was so nice to hear what GP was telling her when they first met.

Cac4, there's not a single study linking penis size to race in a statistically significant way.

Mojo, now that I've gotten over my mirth I find your resolution curious. If you want to date black guys, why not keep doing it? Sure there's this whole "be open to people no matter what particular hue their skin" which I think is quite wise but if someone told me their New Year's resolution was to date redheads even though they prefer blondes I'd think they were odd.

(pardon me while I wipe the beverage off my computer screen)

I guess the people that do those "studies" have (not surprisingly) never served in the Army. Anyone who has would chuckle at the suggestion that there was ever a need for such a study.

Mojo, how about this? Date some guys who don't have photos posted. Or don't look at their photos-- just at their profiles.

Well, obviously, I'm a PC Goody-Two-Shoes who would like to be an equal-opportunity dater. Also,I'm wondering if I just power-of-suggestioned myself into being more attracted to black men. OTOH, it's not my fault that Mother Nature caused some men to be born with yummy full-body dark leather wolf jackets and big brown puppy dog eyes and made them taller than average and gave them deep sexy smooth voices. Plus, it's also not my fault that the men with all those attributes are way above average attracted to tall uber-curvy women with green eyes. Plus, it's not my fault that what I most want from a man is to be petted and f*cked and the men who are most attracted to me are the ones who most want to pet and f*ck me.

ah! excuse me while I wipe the diet coke off my monitor.

Just out of curiosity, were you always attracted to black men almost exclusively? Doesn't sound like you dated black men in the past. Is this a recent trend since Match?
