Yes, the feelings are scary. I honestly believe the only way to understand what they mean is to feel them. Not cover them up out of fear or despair or hope or anything else similar. And I don't know about the time line things.
As we all know, I was not so successful at "saving" my marriage, and have been more than successful at other things. :-)))
Your situation, to me at least, sounds fairly similar to Tom's. He would have to say for sure, though.
It's possible it's too early for you to feel comfortable with your feelings. And you wanna know a secret??? That's okay too.
