I guess I don't necessarily see the Lioness as the great protector... though it certainly can involve protection. I see the Lioness as being the one who just 'gets it done.' No matter what the 'get it done' may involve.
Okay, I thing I get what you're saying here and I agree. BF said something about dating "with intent" and "getting something done" implies intent. I agree with what you said to BF about how everybody has an intent when they date. However, I think that my intent is different than your intent and also different from BF's intent. You want more security and commitment than me ( a boyfriend) and BF wants less romance and affection than me (a f*ckbuddy). What I want primarily, but not exclusively, is a lover and the task of finding a lover involves leaving yourself open to possibilities. So what if I fall a little bit in love and a little bit more in lust with men who I can't count on to take out the trash for me 5 years from now? They fall a little bit in love and lust with me too and it's oh so very whatever-word-means-sweet-and-hot-at-the-same-time while it lasts.
