Thanks Ann. It did sound like she's been stressed. She didn't really tell me much, so I don't know why, but it sure sounded like it on the phone.

I did try calling her a couple times and left her a message once. Now that she's made contact again, I'll try calling her again sometime soon. I feel like I'm walking on an invisible moving line and bad things happen if I get too far off one way or the other. She didn't allude to the fact that she wished I called her more. In the past if she's wanted me to call more she'll ask my why I haven't called.

We didn't talk about Christmas plans at all. So there's a reason for me to call her later. She did tell me that she bought me a present. I told her thank you, that's very kind and that I appreciate it.
